Rosacea is a skin disease that causes redness and pimples on your nose, cheeks, chin, and forehead. The redness may come and go. People sometimes call rosacea “adult acne” because it can cause outbreaks that look like acne. It can also cause burning and soreness in the eyes and eyelids. Rosacea can be embarrassing. Untreated, it can get worse.
Our highly-trained providers look forward to meeting you and answering all of your questions.

Less common signs include eye irritation, burning sensation, raised red patches, and thickening skin, especially on the nose, called rhinophyma.
At ACENT, we treat rosacea’s symptoms with laser skin procedures. We specialize in laser treatments for the face and our range of state-of-the-art equipment enables us to tailor our treatment to meet your needs. Our primary laser treatment for rosacea is the Cutera® Iridex VariLite, which precisely targets vascular lesions. In certain cases we may also use the Sciton® ClearScan YAG™ laser and the BBL™ BroadBand Light, which is an intense pulsed light system. We can also treat rhinophyma with a Sciton erbium:YAG™ resurfacing laser.
