If you want to minimize early signs of aging without the downtime associated with more aggressive laser skin treatments, our med spa in Anchorage, Alaska, offers Moxi, a gentle treatment safe for all skin types and tones. With little to no downtime, Moxi is ideal for patients from Wasilla, Palmer, and surrounding areas who want to prevent or reduce the signs of aging.
Besides the fact that Moxi is safe for patients of all skin types, the treatment offers several other benefits. Request My ConsultationMoxi is a non-ablative fractional laser. That means it penetrates the skin’s surface without damaging it, delivering laser energy through micro-channels and heating the tissue below the skin. That laser energy stimulates the body’s natural healing process, which replaces damaged cells with fresh, healthy skin. The result is improved skin tone and texture, along with reversing moderate sun damage. Because the Moxi device has 3 energy settings, our providers can customize treatments to meet the needs of each patient.
Moxi—sometimes referred to as “baby Halo™”—is just one of the several laser and light-based skin rejuvenation treatments offered at our med spa. During your consultation, one of our aesthetic specialists can describe the benefits of other options that may be more suitable for your specific skin concerns. We often recommend combining Moxi with BBL™ BroadBand Light treatments to produce even better results.

Yes, patients often combine procedures with Moxi or other laser treatments to produce comprehensive anti-aging results. For example, combining injections of BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers with Moxi can reduce more severe wrinkles and improve the skin’s texture.
I wanted to thank you for your empathy and quality care during my appointment with you. You not only made me feel better but also made me look better. I am very pleased with the JUVÉDERM® that you placed in my face. Thank you again.

It takes about a week to see initial results when your skin will appear more radiant. However, patients with more significant sun damage or discoloration will need multiple treatment sessions to produce optimal results. During the first couple of days after treatment, it’s normal to see some redness and small micro-dots called MENDS (microscopic epidermal necrotic debris) that may give your skin a bronzed appearance. This is simply a sign of skin healing. After about 3 to 5 days, these crusted, pinpoint dots will slough off, revealing the renewed skin beneath.
Because this is a non-ablative, fractionated treatment, the post-care regimen is simple. Wear a moisturizing sunscreen of at least SPF 30 and stay out of the sun. You may wear makeup 48 hours after your treatment.
Each patient’s cosmetic goals and skin condition is different, so the specific number of treatments varies. Most patients schedule an initial series of 3 to 4 treatment sessions and then sign up for regular maintenance treatments throughout the year.
